Comedienne Wood joins crime drama

Victoria Wood is joining the cast of crime drama Case Histories for its second series.

The show, based on the best-selling novels of Kate Atkinson, stars Jason Isaacs as private eye Jackson Brodie.

All three episodes, based on story ideas from Atkinson, will be shown on BBC One next year.
