Colleagues grieve for broadcaster

THE death of Irish broadcaster Gerry Ryan has left an emptiness in his station that will be impossible to fill, RTE presenter Pat Kenny said yesterday.

Ryan, 53, was found dead on Friday his Dublin flat. A post-mortem examination is expected to be carried out today.
