Cold comfort for TV's Frost

LONG-RUNNING detective series A Touch of Frost came to a bittersweet end.

Fans of the ITV show starring Sir David Jason, left, saw Det Insp Jack Frost's sidekick, Det Sgt George Toolan (John Lyons), die while Frost was seen walking hand in hand with the woman he planned to spend the rest of his life with.
