Children trapped in car spark inquiry

SOCIAL services have visited a family home after two children scrawled "help" on a steamed-up window after being trapped in a car for over an hour on Friday.

The boy aged three and the ten-year-old girl were spotted by passers-by and taken to hospital but were unhurt. Their brother, 20, the car driver, told police in Rochdale, Greater Manchester, he'd been held up.
