Children In Need to join forces for Star Wars special

BBC Children In Need will join forces with Lucasfilm and Disney for a star-studded Star Wars-inspired special.

The galaxy will be in safe hands as R2-D2 and C-3PO team up with Harry Potter’s Warwick Davis in a quest to find the ultimate fan to help trigger the first totaliser of the night.

The trio will have to battle against a host of famous faces, including Lord Sugar and The Stig, who will be be vying for the coveted role in the sketch, due to be broadcast on appeal night.

Davis starred as Wicket the Ewok in Star Wars Episode VI: Return Of The Jedi.

Sir Terry Wogan is hosting the fundraising extravaganza this year alongside Tess Daly, Fearne Cotton, Rochelle Humes and Nick Grimshaw.

Other highlights include a Call The Midwife Strictly special and the return of Bruce Forsyth to the show. Harry Hill will be performing a one-off skit, and music will come from Ellie Goulding, Rod Stewart and Selena Gomez.

The BBC Children In Need appeal show is on Friday November 13 on BBC One from 7.30pm.
