SINGER Cheryl Cole scored a new number one today, after topping a chart of online celebrity searches.

A study of mobile users' most searched-for stars revealed the X Factor judge's name was 40 per cent more popular than nearest rivals singer Miley Cyrus and Twilight heart-throb Robert Pattinson.
