Cat swinging case is thrown out of court

The case against a man accused of swinging a cat by its tail in the street was dismissed yesterday.

Magistrates in Dover ruled there was insufficient evidence to convict 20-year-old Riain Richards, of Ramsgate, Kent, and ordered his release.
