Cars 'look dearer' with black paint job

CAR owners believe black is the colour to impress.

Some 49 per cent think that having a black-coloured car makes their vehicle seem more expensive, a survey by Auto Trader found. Colours considered a turn-off include yellow, purple and green.

And 5.5 per cent would upgrade if they thought their neighbour's car was worth more.
