A GAS supplier was fined £27,500 following a "major leak" at a terminal.
Calor Gas admitted breaching regulations following an inquiry into a leak of liquefied petroleum gas in Canvey Island, Essex, in October 2008, the Health and Safety Executive said.
A judge also ordered the firm to pay 27,185 costs.
