Briton held over woman’s murder

A BRITISH national has been arrested by police in Costa Rica in connection with the murder of a young Czech woman.

The man named as 20-year-old Alfred Alexandros Mill Saunders, is understood to have been backpacking in the Central American country.

He allegedly stabbed 22-year-old Alexandra Drbohlavova to death at a campsite in the town of Colonia La Libertad, north west of the capital, San Jose.
