Bread and bacon ‘favourite smells’

FRESHLY baked bread, newly washed sheets and bacon are among the favourite smells of Britons, according to a study.

A survey of 2,000 adults showed that men preferred the whiff of bacon, while sweet-smelling laundry came out on top for women.
