Blast at food depot leaves 28 injured

ALMOST 30 people have been injured in an explosion at a food depot.

The blast happened in a freezer at the Brakes plant in Tamworth, Staffordshire, just before midday yesterday.

West Midlands Ambulance Service said 28 people had been hurt in the blast, with one man suffering 15 per cent burns.
