Bee Gees star’s Titanic night

Bee Gees star Robin Gibb will perform his first ever classical work in a concert next month.

It is only his second stage appearance since he was successfully treated for colon and liver cancer.

The singer will appear alongside his son RJ and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) at the Central Hall in Westminster for the premiere of The Titanic Requiem on 10 April – 100 years to the day that the ill-fated ship left Southampton on its maiden voyage.

He said: “I feel great, and I’m particularly excited about performing this brand new song and to have such special guests joining me on stage.”
