Beatle’s amplifier up for auction

AN AMPLIFIER used by Beatle George Harrison on Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band is is expected to fetch £70,000 at auction next month.

An engineer, fixing the Vox UL730 amplifier for New Order bassist Peter Hook, found Harrison’s name scratched on the inside of the casing.
