Bank to control regulations

CHANCELLOR George Osborne's first Mansion House speech tonight is set to confirm the Bank of England's dominance of the regulatory landscape at the expense of the Financial Services Authority.

Mr Osborne's address will lay out more details on plans to give the Bank overall control of financial regulation.
