Baby P's 'acute pain' from 8 broken ribs

BABY P was probably suffering from eight broken ribs when he saw his GP eight days before his death, the General Medical Council heard yesterday.

An expert said the boy – now named as Peter Connelly – would have felt "acute pain" from his injuries if he had been picked up at his 26 July, 2007, consultation with Dr Jerome Ikwueke, a GMC fitness to practise panel heard.
