Award for Peugeot 3008

THE Peugeot 3008, a "crossover" utility vehicle, was today named car of the year in an awards event organised by What Car? magazine.

The 3008 blends the looks and high driving position of a 4x4 with elements of a family hatchback and a multi-purpose vehicle. Editor Steve Fowler said: "Crossover cars will be big news in the next few years."
