Arrests over Costa Condordia wreck ‘souvenir hunting’

A BRITISH diver and three other people have been arrested on suspicion of attempting to take souvenirs from the wreck of the Costa Concordia.

The 42-year-old man, who is said to be from London, was detained alongside an Irish national and two South Africans in the early hours of Saturday morning.

The four were all staff of the salvage group Titan, which had been employed in the operation to raise the ship from the seabed.
