Andy Murray to marry girlfriend Kim Sears - reports

OLYMPIC gold medal winner Andy Murray is set to marry long-term girlfriend Kim Sears after next year’s Wimbledon, according to reports.

The couple have been an item since 2006 and currently live together in a £5m mansion in Surrey.

A source close to the couple told the express newspaper:

“Andy and Kim like to keep their relationship away from the spotlight but a wedding next year is very much on the cards.

“Kim has been keen for some time and Andy’s been dragging his feet. But a date next summer is now being talked about. It’s going to be a very private do because that’s the kind of people they are.”

Andy Murray described his win over Roger Federer in the final of the Olympic men’s single at Wimbledon as the most “significant” of his career.

Kim Sears is the daughter of renowned tennis coach Nigel Sears.
