Adele rules out dedication
The singer has famously been inspired to write her hits by the ups and downs of her love life. But the star has told chat host Jonathan Ross she refused to write about the last boyfriend who left her “burnt” earlier this year.
Adele’s record-breaking hit album 21 was inspired by a devastating break-up, including her moving single Someone Like You.

Hide AdSpeaking on ITV1’s The Jonathan Ross Show, she said: “I got a bit burnt back in May, around my birthday, and I know he would be over the moon if I wrote a record about him. But no way is that boy getting a record about him. No way.”
Adele points out the rigours of touring meant she found it hard to meet new men and adds: “I hate being single.”
The singer also told Ross that she has little interest in fame.
