AA set to start up apprentice academy

THE AA is planning to launch an apprentice academy, offering training for jobs in the motoring organisation ranging from recovery patrols to call centres.

It already runs training courses but said it wanted a new approach to recruitment.

The AA expects to take on between 650 and 1,000 staff in the coming year.
