UK News: Daughter's horror at dad's parasail death

A DAUGHTER has spoken of her horror after seeing her father plunge to his death in a parasailing accident.

Glenn Hudson, 50, had persuaded daughter Emma, 25, to go on a tandem parasail with him on a family holiday to Antalya, Turkey, when his safety harness snapped on July 24.

A TEENAGE boy died after being pulled out of the sea following a three-hour search operation.

A hunt was launched after members of the public spotted the 14-year-old in difficulty off the Blackpool coast yesterday.

Medics struggled to save the boy's life after he was recovered from the water near Central Pier at about 6.30pm.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said he was pronounced dead at 7.50pm.
