Ugandan president wins fresh term

Uganda's long-time president has won another term, the country's election commission said yesterday, but the top opposition leader alleged the election was fraudulent.

The electoral commission said Yoweri Museveni won 68 per cent of votes in Friday's poll, extending his 25-year hold on power.
