Two walkers trapped on Elie chain-walk in Fife

Two walkers are trapped on the Elie chain-walk after taking an Easter Sunday stroll.

Police were called to the Fife tourist attraction shortly before 3pm today.

Coast guard and firefighters, including rope rescue specialists, were called in.

The crack teams were still battling to rescue the pair two hours later.
