Two muggers take winnings

A PUNTER who had just won a four-figure sum in a bookmakers was attacked and robbed by two men as he left with his winnings.

The 58-year-old had been in Ladbrokes in Main Street, Whitburn, on Tuesday and left the shop at around 6pm.

The victim walked into Union Drive when he was grabbed from behind and robbed.

The first suspect is white, around 18 years old, 5ft 7in tall, with short blond hair with red streaks through it. The second is white and around 30 years old.
