Two men assaulted by mountain biker

POLICE are appealing for information after two men were seriously assaulted in Glasgow on Saturday night.

The men, both 22, were walking on Cumberland Street in the Gorbals area when they were approached by a male on a mountain bike. The cyclist struck them with a sharp implement before riding off. Both men were taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
