Two injured in rush hour car accident

Two women were taken to hospital after a car overturned near Glasgow Airport during morning rush hour yesterday.

Strathclyde Police said the A726 Barnsford Road in Renfrewshire was closed following the accident, involving two cars.

Diversions were put place as motorists faced delays until the road re-opened.
