Two injured after Edinburgh crash

TWO women have been taken to hospital after a crash between a van and a car in Edinburgh today.

The driver and passenger of the van were taken to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary following the crash in Niddrie Mains Road, near The Wisp.

The male driver of the car was unhurt.

Lothian and Borders Police have appealed for witnesses to the crash, which happened at 10:50.
