Two hurt in car collision

TWO cars were involved in a collision on a main road in the Lothians at the weekend.

The accident happened yesterday at 11.45am on the A701 near the Gowkley Moss roundabout, Penicuik, Midlothian.

Fire crews were called to the scene after two cars collided, with the drivers of both suffering injuries.

One of the drivers was already out of the car when fire crews arrived, but the other had to be helped out. Both of the drivers were treated in hospital for shock and minor injuries.
