Two hurt as cars collide

TWO people have been taken to hospital after a three-vehicle collision yesterday.

The incident took place at the junction of the M90 and M9 at Newbridge around 4.10pm.

One car caught fire but was extinguished by the time police and paramedics arrived.

A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "Two occupants has possible neck or back injuries. One patient was taken to St John's and the other to Queen Margaret's."
