Two held over city break-ins

TWO men have been arrested and charged in connection with a string of break-ins at business premises across Edinburgh.

Bars, newsagents and nightclubs were among the 13 premises allegedly targeted by the pair, aged 46 and 32.

The men were arrested following a search of properties in Crewe Grove, Pilton Avenue and Lower Granton Road, where a number of allegedly stolen goods were recovered.

They were set to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday.
