Two die in Bangkok scaffold collapse

SCAFFOLDING collapsed at a luxury Bangkok shopping centre yesterday, dumping steel and cement on a work crew below, killing two people and injuring six others, police said.

The accident occurred in an area being rebuilt after the CentralWorld shopping complex was set on fire as the military cracked down on anti-government protests in the commercial district in May.
