Two charged over break-ins

A PAIR of alleged housebreakers have been arrested by police in north Edinburgh.

A 22-year-old man was arrested and charged with three housebreakings in the Dean area during last month. Inquiries are continuing into two other break-ins during December.

Meanwhile, a 22-year-old male was charged with a series of break-ins and attempted break-ins to homes in Comely Bank, Comely Bank Road and Orchard Road, as well as a break-in to a car parked in Saxe-Coburg Place.
