Two attacked after gang break into Perth home

Detectives are hunting a masked gang that broke into a home in a residential area of Perth and seriously assaulted two men in a late night attack.

The intruders, who all spoke with Irish accents, were wearing blue boiler suits and black ski masks when they carried out the attack on the two male occupants of a house in Glover Street, Perth, on Sunday night.

The three men were aged between 20 and 40, and were all about 5ft 11ins tall.

One was slim, one medium build and one fat. Police are appealing for information from witnesses.

A police spokesman said: "Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen the persons responsible in the area or who may know the persons involved."
