Two arrested over Glasgow schoolgirl bus rape

TWO men have been arrested in connection with the alleged rape of a 14-year-old girl on a bus in Glasgow.

Police Scotland said it followed appeals for information and witnesses following a report of a serious sexual assault in Pollok on Friday, 22 March.

The men, both aged 22, were expected to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court today.

The alarm was raised when the girl’s friend, also 14, went to check on her.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “Two men, aged 22, have been arrested in connection with the alleged incident.

“Media and the public are thanked for their assistance with this appeal.”
