TV win hopes for Capital duo

A MUM and her daughter are hoping to win big tonight when they enter the Secret Fortune challenge.

June Jeffrey, a semi-retired PE teacher from Port Seton in East Lothian and her daughter Alana Vass, 35, could win up to 100,000 if they have their wits about them for the high- tension BBC show.

If Mrs Jeffrey wins she plans to take a trip to Rome, while Mrs Vass, a former P&O cruise theatre staff member, wants to give her garden a makeover.

Mrs Jeffrey said: "We're quite nervous but if we win it'll be fantastic. Fingers crossed."
