TV star attacked after court hearing

Shameless star Elliott Tittensor was attacked as he came out of court yesterday after being fined for driving without insurance during a car accident which left a teenager in hospital.

The 20-year-old, who plays Carl Gallagher in the Channel 4 show, was set upon outside Highbury Magistrates' Court by a grey-haired man in his 40s.

Tittensor was fined 750 and given six penalty points.
