Turf is cut at new campus

The turf has been cut on a state-of-the-art £37.1 million community hub and high school in Midlothian.

Lasswade Community Campus will provide cutting edge facilities for the community, teachers and pupils.

Existing facilities will be replaced and community services brought into one building.

The first phase of the community campus is expected to open in Autumn 2013 and will hold up to 1480 pupils.
