Try your luck with a duck

MORE than 1000 plastic yellow ducks will negotiate rapids, waterfalls and bridges to raise funds to help keep the Water of Leith clean.

The Great Water of Leith Duck Race takes place on Sunday, starting at 3pm. People can sponsor a duck for 1, with a range of prizes on offer.

There will be three races in total, with the Open Race seeing more than 1000 ducks competing from the Lanark Road bridge, and following the Water of Leith Walkway before crossing the finishing line at the Longstone Booker Cash & Carry.
