Troupe helps meet wishes
A CHURCH youth drama group has handed over a cheque for more than £600 to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, which works with youngsters who face life-threatening conditions.
The Porty Performers from Portobello Old Parish Church raised the money from tickets for their Christmas play.
Youth leaders Poppy Cooke and Roseanna Warren presented the £617.18 cheque.
The Rev Andrew Paterson said: “The Make-A-Wish memory can be the last happy memory families have of their child having fun in a magical world.”
