Tributes to innocent who died at Aldgate

CARRIE TAYLOR"It WAS Carrie's dream to work in the arts and this is something that we always encouraged. She had friends from a variety of backgrounds. It was a mark of her temperament that she didn't have any prejudices and always found the best in people.

"Initially she was in a temporary position (at the Royal Society of Arts] and on 4 July 2005 she was, much to her joy, appointed to the post permanently. She believed she was moving in the right direction and it was devastating that she had only just started to reap the benefits of all her hard work when she died so tragically on 7 July 2005."

BENEDETTA CIACCIA

"Benedetta Ciaccia was a beautiful, sweet, Italian girl who greatly loved life. All she worked for was to have a family of her own with many children which she really loved. This dream was about to come true. On 11 September, 2005, she would have married. Her family were looking forward to this but the time was stopped at 8:50am on 7 July, 2005, when Benedetta, just like any other day, had left her home in Norwich to catch the 6:30 train into Liverpool Street and then carried on the journey on the Circle line towards Aldgate."

"You never really appreciate the light emitted by a candle in a darkened room until the candle is extinguished. This sums up Anne as she shed so much light on so many other people's lives."

Her brother Chris

FIONA STEVENSON

"She had a wonderful zest for life. As far as she was concerned, life was no dress rehearsal and she was determined to live it to the full."

Her parents

RICHARD GRAY

"A FUN-loving, kind and generous and an ordinary family man."

His widow Louise

RICHARD ELLERY

"Richard was his normal self - a funny, lively guy - and looking forward to his course in London.' The young man, who enjoyed socialising with his friends into the small hours, was 'beginning a new and positive phase' in his life. 'It made it all the harder that this was snatched away from him on 7 July, 2005. He had a great sense of humour and was quick-witted. The only time he was grumpy was in the morning."

His flatmate

LEE BAISDEN

"Lee was one of a kind. He was loyal, sensitive, trustworthy and caring. We will remember him as a fun-loving man who could be stubborn at times. Lee was somebody who never liked to be centre of attention He planned to get married to his partner Paul Groman and he enjoyed life to the full. He will be greatly missed by all and his loss has left a massive hole in all our lives."
