Tributes left to mother killed in road accident

FLORAL tributes have been left at the scene of a fatal accident in Dundee where a mother of two died in an accident following a wedding celebration for two work colleagues.

Linda Crosbie, 44, of Kirkbuddo Place, Monifieth, had been attempting to cross the city's Riverside Drive with a work colleague when they were both struck by a westbound car at the Discovery Point crossing.

Ms Crosbie died in the city's Ninewells Hospital in the early hours of Sunday morning. Her 38-year-old male companion, who was seriously injured in the accident, was said to be "stable".

Ms Crosbie worked as an accounts assistant with Dundee-based chartered accountancy firm, Four M, and died after she had attended the wedding of two work colleagues.

Yesterday floral tributes to Ms Crosbie were left at the accident scene. One read: "Our thoughts are with you and your family Linda. You will be missed."
