Tributes to 'best sister'

THE sister of a woman killed in a car crash has paid tribute to the "best sister anyone could ever ask for".

Maia Strachan died with her brother, Michael, when his TVR sports car crashed in Aberdeenshire on Wednesday night.

Dr Strachan, a biologist who lived in Edinburgh, had just announced that she was going to marry in February.

Her younger sister, Kirsty Morag, said: "Michael and Maia were the best brother and sister anyone could ever ask for."
