Tributes as tragic bike boy is laid to rest

A FIVE-YEAR-OLD knocked down and killed by a delivery lorry only yards from his home was laid to rest to the soundtrack of his favourite Harry Potter film.

Archie Dunbar died last Tuesday after being hit by a delivery van while cycling metres from his home in Gullane in East Lothian. Mourners, including his parents, Michaela and Jonathan, paid tribute to the popular "free spirit" at the service at Aberlady Parish Church.

The funeral began with the soundtrack from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

The Rev Christine Clark spoke of Archie's love for the outdoors and walking on the beach barefoot, and how he "always saved space for dessert".
