Tribute show for bandsman

A memorial concert is to be held for Dalkeith and Monktonhall Brass Band stalwart Thomas Campbell, who died earlier this year.

The tribute is to be held at St Mary's Episcopal Church, High Street, Dalkeith - where Mr Campbell was a church warden - from 7pm on Thursday, August 18.

The forthcoming concert, to be conducted by James Chamberlain, has been described as an "evening of live music and entertainment to suit all tastes, in a beautiful venue".

Tickets, priced 5, will be available at the door.
