Trial told of threats

A MAN admitted threatening a witness who was due to give evidence at his trial.

Edinburgh Sheriff Court heard Edward Oliver, 36, who was due to face trial for supplying controlled drugs, told witness Stuart Tait: "It is not in your best interests to come back next week. I know where you live and I've got you sussed." Sentence was deferred.
