Youngest Scots pilot in Qantas Airbus A380 cockpit
Tom Hall, Scotland’s youngest qualified pilot, sat in the cockpit of a Qantas Airbus A380 with movie star John Travolta.
Hall met Travolta, who is an ambassador for Qantas, during a visit to Heathrow.
The 18 year old from Perth was also given a look behind the scenes at the airport’s control tower.
The teenager has built a flight simulator in his bedroom and holds a private pilot licence, with the hope of becoming a commercial pilot.
