Tracy Forbes was a passenger in a car which crashed with a lorry on the A911 near Markinch in Fife on Tuesday.
The 45-year-old, who lived in Glenrothes, was a charge nurse in Dunfermline’s Queen Margaret Hospital.

Hide AdFirefighters cut her free from the vehicle and she was airlifted to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee, where she later died.
Her sister Lee Ann Gardner said: “Tracy was a devoted mother and sister and who was also a perfect daughter, who was a best friend to all. She was a dedicated and passionate nurse who will be sadly missed by all.”
The male driver of the car had only minor injuries and was taken to Queen Margaret Hospital.
The lorry driver, also a man, was treated by ambulance staff at the scene.
