Three-car crash near Houndslow kills one
ONE person has died and three others have been injured in a three-car crash in the Borders.
The incident happened at 3.35pm on the A697 near Houndslow in the Scottish Borders.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “One person has died and a number of people have suffered injuries in the three-vehicle collision which happened around 3.35pm today.”
Road diversions were put in place for several hours while the emergency services attended the scene.
