Teenager hit by vehicle in Paisley in critical condition

A TEENAGER is in a critical condition in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Paisley.

The collision happened on Wellmeadow Street, near to Lady Lane, in the Renfrewshire town at around 5am on Saturday.

Medical staff describe his condition as critical, Police Scotland said.

The driver of the vehicle was not injured.

Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident or who may have information to get in contact.
